Become a Specialist Sitter

NCA are looking for network childminders who would like to help parents of disabled children by becoming Specialist Sitters. We have had enquiries already from parents across the whole county and are keen to get as many potential sitters signed up as we can.

Payment will be £5 an hour to be paid by parents, plus £5 an hour and £4 set travel costs to be paid by NCA. Your NCMA or Morton Michell public liability will cover you for offering this service. You will be able to specify which days and dates you would be able to do and will be able to meet the parents and children first to make sure that you are happy that you can provide the care required.

NCA aim to work more closely with families with disabled children in the future as we know that access to childcare is a real issue for them. If you are interested in offering your services please would you complete the attached questionnaire and email it to us
