Birthday competition

Here are the winning designs for our birthday cake competition. We found the competition so hard to judge that we picked two winners in the end - one was Rachel McNeill (6 years old) whose design won because she had obviously designed it herself, it is colourful, incorporates the NCA rainbow and is not just a flat design.

Our other prize winners are the children cared for by Aimee Walden. There were 8 children involved ranging from 2 – 10 years and Aimee sent in lots of information about the process they went through and the research they did into NCA and birthdays in general. The winning design incorporates our charity number, the year NCA was formed and images of children from the NCA site. Photos below show the winners receiving their prize cakes from Michael Ellis MP for Northampton North.
