New factsheet from Ofsted

Ofsted have recently published a new factsheet on reporting serious injuries, accidents and deaths to children in your care. It defines what Ofsted regard as serious injuries, how to report to them and different requirements for the Childcare and Early Years registers.

This factsheet sits alongside your statutory duty to inform other agencies such as your local authority environmental health department or the Health and Safety Executive.

Make sure you update your policies to reflect this new information.
