NCA Development Workers
Your local NCA Development Worker can support you through the registration process and in the early months as you start your new business. Your Development Worker can also visit you at home to help you prepare for your first Ofsted visit. Our information and advice line is available Monday – Friday, 9-5pm. Tel 0845 838 3724
Support Childminder Scheme
The County Council's Early Years & Childcare Workforce Development Team runs a Support Childminder Scheme. This useful scheme will put you in touch with a more experienced working childminder in your area to help you as you get started.

Childminding Groups
NCA supports over 26 childminding groups in the county. Many childminders find it useful to meet up regularly with other childminders living and working in the area. Minded children also benefit from making new friends and enjoying a variety of play and learning activities. Contact us for more information.
