Public and Products Liability covers your business if you or your employees are held legally liable for accidental injury to clients, customers or the public, or for damage to their property as a result of your business's activities or products.
You will not be covered for bodily injury to employees, fines, penalties and punitive awards, and sports involving weapons. You must follow all relevant statutory requirements and take all reasonable precautions to prevent a loss.

Employers' Liability covers the cost of compensating employees who are injured at or become ill through work due to employers' negligence.
You must take all reasonable precautions and comply with all relevant statutory requirements, and you are not covered for fines penalties and punitive awards.

Professional Indemnity insurance is designed to protect you if a client or customer of yours loses money because of advice or services you've offered in connection with your business.
You will not be covered for claims or circumstances that you are aware of or that have been or should have been reported to a previous policy, bodily injury, or property damage other than as provided for under Loss of or Damage to Documents.

Professional Indemnity insurance is designed to protect you if a client or customer of yours loses money because of advice or services you've offered in connection with your business.
You will not be covered for any claim with a less than 50% prospect of success, legal costs and expenses incurred without the insurers consent and claims not notified in a reasonable time. Helplines are subject to fair and reasonable use.

Childminder Contents provides cover for equipment at your premises, which is used solely in connection with your business, against unexpected loss or damage. For example, fire, theft, water damage and flood.
You will not be covered for the first £100 of any valid claim relating to electrical items and £50 for all other items, theft or attempted theft from unattended vehicles outside of business hours and overnight or wear, tear or depreciation in value.

To create your profile you must have a Childminding UK account. If you already have an account you can log in and get started now.
Share what makes you unique, demonstrate your experience and qualifications, highlight the unique benefits of your setting, show your fees and availability and share pictures.
Your profile will be listed on our marketing directory. Parents can search for childminders using their location or the name of the schools their children attend.
Your profile will be available for parents to find as soon as the directory site launches. Parents can email you using the form or contact you directly via your telephone, email or social media.

All training and resources are updated as and when required. Members are automatically given the updated version in their Dashboard
No - the option to pay monthly is purely an option to spread the cost over the year via 12 equal payments. This is clearly stated in terms and conditions.
If you choose to pay monthly, your payments will be taken each month on the same date as you sign up for Annual Membership. Childminding UK can change this payment date if needed.
Membership automatically renews each year unless you set it to not renew in your Dashboard. You will receive 4 reminder emails in the month before the renewal date.
Your Membership training and resources sit in your Dashboard. To access your Dashboard, log into any page on our website using your email address and password. Then simply click on either ‘training’ or ‘resources’ in the left hand menu to access. The only time you would need to visit the shop is if you are buying a Virtual training event, face to face training, or a physical document such as the EYFS.
Log into your Dashboard and in the left hand menu click 'discounts'. Click on the individual discounts to see further information and how to access your discounted price.
For many of our documents, it is important for you to amend to suit your own childminder setting. For this reason these are provided in Word format. This also allows you to include your own logo/business name or the Professional Member of Childminding UK logo in the member benefits section of your Dashboard. If you have a work email address or work website or Facebook page, why not consider adding your Membership logo to these too?
